Darche 180 LED Awning

Description

At Darche, they design products to withstand the challenging Australian conditions, which is why they’re also ideally suited for the European climate. That’s why they subjected the Eclipse 180 Freestanding LED Awning to an extensive 30-day wind test. During this test, they exposed the awning to everything from gentle breezes to heavy storms.

The tests showed that the Eclipse 180 Freestanding LED Canopy withstood wind speeds of more than 50 km/h. They used the Omega OM-CP-WIND101A anemometer system, calibrated with data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, to measure wind speed in seconds during the tests.

Based on the results and observations from the testing period, they determined that the Eclipse 180 Freestanding LED Awning can withstand winds of up to 30 km/h in freestanding mode. However, we recommend always using the included poles and securing the canopy properly with stakes and guy lines. After all, Mother Nature is unpredictable, and we want to ensure that your investment remains protected.

The Eclipse 180 Freestanding LED Canopy isn’t just built to last—it’s also packed with features that will take your next outdoor adventure to the next level. For example, dimmable LED strips are integrated into the support arms, including an amber setting that repels insects. The innovative two-piece design of the back panel ensures a fully sealed transport cover, offering maximum weather resistance while still allowing you to easily move the awning from one vehicle to another. In addition, 8mm awning rails are built into the back panel, allowing you to attach a wide range of accessories to your awning.
