Darche 180 LED Awning

Description

At Darche (based in Australia), they have spent the past few years developing a groundbreaking innovation: the Freestanding LED Awning (270 LED Awning). With a keen eye for detail, they have designed, tested, and perfected this product. The goal? To create an awning that stands out for its sturdiness, ease of use, and durability.

Extensively Tested – Wind Resistance Down to the Last Detail

Darche is the first company in Australia to conduct extensive wind resistance testing on a freestanding awning. During an intensive 30-day testing period, they exposed this 270 awning to various wind conditions, ranging from gentle breezes to strong storms on the Beaufort scale.

In initial tests, the awning withstood wind speeds of up to 50 km/h, and after improvements, it even withstood 55 km/h. With the poles extended and securely anchored using the included stakes and guy lines, the 270 awning remained intact at wind speeds of up to 90 km/h. Thanks to smart break points in the design, the awning prevents damage to your vehicle under extreme conditions, while still allowing for simple repairs.

For normal use, we recommend always using the 3 poles, stakes, and guy lines included. Although the awning has been tested as a freestanding structure up to 30 km/h, nature remains unpredictable, and it’s always wise to protect your investment. Additional poles are available separately (you can support the awning at three more points; with this extra awning pole, you canprovide even more support for the arms; these separate poles can also be used to replace the original poles). These have a round head on one end and a pointed end on the other.

Expand your shade and shelter with the optional sidewall set, which increases the total coverage to as much as 20.5 m². These are sold separately and are ideal for completing your outdoor setup.
